- Wonderland Twin Peaks – Attraction for hikers
Abuja’s best hiking trail. You can see some of the city’s most thrilling views from the summit of the Wonderland Twin Peaks. From its peak, you get a 360˚ view of the beautiful city of Abuja from the City Gate to the Minister’s Hill.
The Hill is a little steep for beginners, but you can get to the peak with the correct dose of enthusiasm. You are making the climb will reward you with the beautiful sights of the city. Settle in for a picnic, catch your breath, take pictures, have fun and tuck some beautiful memories in before you begin your descent down the Hill.

- Bwari Pottery Village
For visitors who plan to escape the hustle and bustle of the central city, this location is a great place to begin. The Pottery Village, located just after the Landmark Nigerian Law School, Bwari, boasts beautiful black and white painted, single-storey, thatch-roofed houses that conjure a nostalgic pre-colonial feeling.

Quick bite: Spend the day reconnecting with nature and then whet your appetite in your choice eatery. Visit Usama Lower Dam, a non-flowing, artificial dam located at Ushap, Bwari, along the Duste-Bwari road in the north-western part of Abuja, approximately 25km from the city centre. This dam offers hiking, canoeing and fishing opportunities.
- Millennium Park
One of Abuja’s most famous public parks, which sits on an 80- acre lush land. Located near the former Presidential Palace and flanked by some presidential and administrative buildings. The park is simply one of the main attractions of the city of Abuja.
The park is divided into two by a serpentine-like river such that one part of the park with a wide array of evergreen wood and large rocks remains untouched. The other part is open to the public who leisurely, taking in all of nature’s beauty.

Leaving Abuja
Following Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Road (Airport Road) allows you to behold the Zuma Rock, one of Nigeria’s famous landmarks, located north of the airport.
